Still the end of October

Yes! I know New year is here and I am still behind schedule trying to publish... between the planning and giving of classes and other activities (and of course some technology problems), its hard to catch up!!! but well, this time I will share with you some pictures of another event: The Mexican students invited us to join them in the celebration of Edwin´s birthday. Edwin is a Chinese student, mayoring in English and working with the International Affairs Office. he lives in our same building and I myself have called him a couple of times to check things like internet, being locked out of the apartment, etc. He has been so nice to help us in these little problems we have had and he speaks English!!!!
So we took the subway  to Shāpíngbà again, This time, we would eat at an all you can eat  pizza buffet (50 Y), which was like heaven to most of us!, since some missed food that was more familiar to us...

Right before entering the place, we saw different groups peforming different dances, later, Edwin told me that they do that avery weekend, that it was not necesarily a special date.







Si, efectivamente, el año nuevo llegó y todavía no pudo publicar según la fecha... entre la planeación de clases , las clases y otras actividades ( y por supuesto también los problemas con la tecnología), es dificil hacerlo !. pero bueno, en esta ocasión compartiré algunas fotos de la invitación de los chicos mexicanos para celebrar el cumpleaños de Edwin. Edwin es un estudiante chinoque estudia la licenciatura en Inglés y que trabaja para el Departamento Internacional y que vive en nuestro mismo edificio: yo he recurrido a el un par de veces para ver algunos problemitas como el internet, o incluso el día en que me quedé fuera del apartamento por olvidar mi llave, etc. Edwin ha sido también nuestro apoyo en esto de adaptarnos a la vida aquí y además habla Inglés!!!!
Así que tomamos el metro para ir nuevamente a  Shāpíngbà, pero en esta ocasión , iríamos a comer a un lugar con bufette de pizas por 50 yuanes, lo cual sonaba como el paraíso para la mayoría de nosotros ya que algunos extrañaban  la comida más familiar a nuestros paladares...

Además de pizzas: pastas, ensaladas, sopas, bebidas, postres.....
