 Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street

Jiefangbei Shangye Buxingjie ( 重庆解放碑步行街 )

After our walk by the river, Alba took a different route to the route we had taken to arrive there, to show us a little bit of Jiefamngbei area were we could see lots of stores and could also appreciate the buildings lights at night, and then, back to the subway!!!!

Después de nuestra caminata por el lugar cerca del río, Alba tomó una ruta diferente a la que habíamos tomado para llegar ahí, para mostrarnos una parte del Area peatonal de Jiefangbei, donde pudimos ver muchos comercios y también pudimos apreciar la iluminación nocturna de los edificios y después, de regreso al metro!

 

An underground pedestrian passage... I have discovered there are many
in areas like this... and they are crowded with vendors or small stores!
Un túnel para peatones... he descubierto que hay muchos en
áreas como ésta ... y están llenos de vendedores ambulantes
o de pequeñas tiendas!

I did not know of the importance of the tower on the left
until we visited the place a second time, with one of  our friends
who is a teacher at CQUST
No supe de la importancia de la torre a la izquierda hasta que
hicimos una segunda visita al lugar, con una amiga que
es maestra en  CQUST
