Framing my caligraphy gift

David and Luis (both from the Chinese Culture Asociation) had told us that they would go with us to have our caligraphby (the chinese writing professor gave us after that lecture I talked to you about before) framed, so they went to our appartment. I also invited Lupe (one of my students) since she was eager to tell me about her new friend from Mexico. I sent the e-mail addresses of my students to the language school with the idea to start message exchanges between mexican and chinese students ( so that they practised Spanish) This was our adventure that day

thought that was the subway stop from Xijie, but it wasn´t! jaja
Nuestros amigos, tratano de ver la mejor msanera de ir a Xi jie
ya que nosotros pensábamos que esa era la parada del metro de Xi jie,
 pero no fué así jaja

We decided to stay at Xi Jie while they took the writing to the "framing workshop"
Decidimos esperar en Xi Jie mientras ellos llevaban la caligrafía al lugar para enmarcarla

David y Luis (ambos miembros de la Asociación de Cultura China) nos habían dicho que irían con nosotros el fin de semana a que enmarcaran  nuestra caligrafía  (la escritura china que les comenté en otra publicación, el profesor escribió para Joselyn y para mí) así que fueron a njuestro departamento. I También invité a Lupe  (una de mis estudiantes)  ya que estab ansiosa de contarme sobre su nuevo amigo de México . Había yo enviado las direcciones de correo de mis estudiantes a la facultad de idiomas con la idea de iniciar un intercambio de mensajes entre los estudiantes mexicanos y los estudiantes chinos  ( para que así ellos practicaran español). Esta fue nuestra aventura ese día.

 Lupe helped us to buy some things we needed at the supermarket while the boys took my caligraphy to the shop



Lupe nos ayudó a comprar cosas que necesitábamos en el supermercado mientras los chicos
llevaban la caligrafía al taller.






Y para terminar... una rica comida y muy buena compañía!
