Ciqikou

After taking pictures of the many street vendors we saw on the way to ciqikou, (which was declared a protected cultural site in 1998) we arrived at the main entrance .The place was crowded! and  its narrow stone streets did not seem to be wide enough to host the numerous visitors !,  its never ending  streets  look so colorful with all those  different  stores on both of their sides!. According to an article, there are 12 of these streets in this site.

Before entering there, I offered to take a picture to a couple and then asked them to take a picture of us with mi camera. after that , we were ready to follow the crowd I was afraid to get lost in that human sea... in fact there was a point when I did not see any of my mexican friends, but later, Silvia (one of them) found me. fortunately, we had our cell phones and found out the rest of our group who had stopped at one of the many small stores to look at some nice scarves.

I had heard about this cotton candy... we do have it in Mexico but not with these beautiful shapes!
Había escuchado sobre estos algodones , los tenemos en México, pero no con estas bellas formas!

Después de tomar fotografías de los muchos vendedores camino a Ciqikou (que fué declarada lugar cultural protegido en 1998) llegamos a su entrada principal el lugar estab atestado de gente! sus angostas calles de piedra parecían no ser lo suficientemente anchas para albergar a sus numerosos visitantes . Sus interminables callecitas  se veían tan coloridas gracias a los diferentes comercios que se encontraban a ambos lados, según un artículo que leí hay 12 calles en este lugar.

Antes de entrar, me ofrecí  a tomarle una foto a una pareja y después les pedí que nos tomaran una foto con mi cámara. Después de eso, estuvimos listas para seguir a la multitud, llegó un momento en el que sentí miedo de perderme en ese mar humano... de hecho, hubo un momento en que no vi a mis amigas mexicanas, pero después Silvia (una de ellas) me encontró en su camino. Afortunadamente contábamos con nuestros celulares y descubrimos que las demás se habían quedado en una tienda mirando unas hermosas mascadas.
