Back to 沙坪壩 ( Shāpíngbà)

This time, we went back to Shapingba (simplified Chinese: 沙坪坝; traditional Chinese: 沙坪壩; pinyin: Shāpíngbà) because Eriy, from the International Relations Office, took Joselyn and I to the International Health Center to get a chinese health document that is required in the process of the chinese work VISA. She picked us up  at the building where we live and we enjoyed the ride. Despite I had all the analisis with me (in  original) that  they had asked in the format of the Chinese Consulate in Mexico, at the clinic  they told her that "one item was missing", so they took a blood sample to complete it (I had with me 3 different blood analysis but still it seems they were not complete).
When we went to Mexico city to get our Chinese Visa, they took the first page of the original Medical Cerificate format from Joselyn, so here they did all the studies to her again... we were very surprised that , the process took maybe less than half an hour while in Mexico, it had taken us DAYS to do all the studies required (all doctors at this Health Center were on the same floor and Joselyn told me that she left one room to go to the next, and then to the next... It called my attention that when they took my blood sample the neeedle had a very thin device (I don´t know how to call it in  English) that was put into the test tube . In Mexico. the test tube is put directly to the needle.
Fortunatelly, the university paid the expenses...since we would receive our first pay check  by the end of the month....

On the way to the Health Center.... a view of the city buildings.
Some information at the The Health Center about the process to be followed. . Eriy was very diligent in talking to the personnel in chinese because as usual... we did not understand a thing! that is:

什么也不知道。(shěn me yě bù zhī dao) (no idea!!!!)

the parking lot, with the traditional red lamp.
After the Halth Center, we headed back to school and since we had had anything to eat because of the analysis Eriy took us to one of the dinin g area which has recently opened called Happy Meal Time. This time since she was there, I asked her to order some "Sweet and sour" dish and Joselyn ordered some chicken, both disher were of course accompanied by rice, cold soup and shredded potato. mmm delicious!!! ... picking the peanuts with the chopsticks was a real challenge though!.
