Green Lake Park, or Cui Hu Park (simplified Chinese: 翠湖公园; traditional Chinese: 翠湖公園; pinyin: Cuìhú Gōngyuán), was established in the 17th century on the west side of the Wuhua Mountain .
There are 4 lakes linked by aseries of traditional style bridges. Besides the bridges, we could also see the beautiful buildings , flowers, the next morning, we were so lucky to see the black-headed gulls from Siberia that migrate to Green Lake every winter.
Located in the park is the statue of one of Yunnan's most famous people: Nie Er, the composer of China's national anthem.
